The Foundation

About Us

The Osagyefo Ampem Foundation is a community-focused non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable development within the Wenchi Traditional Area of Ghana.

Inspired by the vision and leadership of His Royal Majesty, Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoapong Tabrako III, the Foundation was established to promote unity, development, and shared prosperity among the people of Wenchiman. Our work focuses on improving livelihoods, strengthening human capital, and unlocking the socio-economic potential of the community through inclusive and locally driven development initiatives.

Osagyefo Ampem Foundation was established and legally incorporated as a non-profit Foundation in Ghana on 16th September 2024, in commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the enstoolment of His Royal Majesty, Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoapong Tabrako III, as Paramount Chief of the Wenchi Traditional Area.

Our Mission

To improve the quality of life of people in the Wenchi Traditional Area by implementing sustainable, community-driven programs in education, health, water and sanitation, entrepreneurship, technology, and cultural development.

Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III

Paramount Chief of the Wenchi Traditional Area

Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III is the Paramount Chief of the Wenchi Traditional Area and President of the Wenchi Traditional Council. He is a forward-looking traditional leader who blends cultural stewardship with modern governance and development leadership.

He holds a BSc in Administration from Central University College and an MSc in Supply Chain Management from Coventry University, UK. His professional background spans public service and the private sector, with experience at the Ghana Standards Authority, Peeman Co. Ltd., and The Beige Bank, where he worked in administration, operations, and relationship management.

Enstooled in September 2019, Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III has focused on promoting unity, institutional strengthening, and sustainable development within the Wenchi Traditional Area. His leadership is guided by integrity, accountability, and a commitment to improving the lives of his people while preserving Wenchi's rich cultural heritage.
